Section Two, Chapters 6 to 15-Examination/Evaluation-Focuses on the Physical therapist's examination and triage skills vital to a primary care environment. Central to these skills is the data evaluation process that leads to the diffrential diagnosis and establishment of the appropriate plan of care. An important part of the triage responsibilities is the recognition by physical therapists of those patients who need to be refrred to other members of the primary care team,as well as determining which patients should be seen by a certified clinical spesialist(Physical therapist). In an effort to promote efficient and effective practice,this section is organized in the same way that a physical therapist might collect patient'data:starting with the chief presenting complaint,"Patient what brings you here?". "How can I help you?" Chapter 6(new chapter) and 7 Present a diffrential diagnosis approach to common chief presenting complaints(e,g.,back pain,joint pain dizziness). |
