A Number of years ago,it was planed to merge this book with companion text entitled Neuromusculoskeletal Examinitation and Assessment. Feed-back from users indicated it would be better to keep them saparate. However, to enhance the way each book complements the other,new editions of both books havebeen prepared at the same time; it has been a busy year|. Contribuors worked with chapters from the previous edition of this book, editing the text,adding new sections and updating the references. The chapter on assessment has moved out to the companion examintion and assessment textbook and this has allowed space for a colleague to write a new chapter on pain. I am grateful,not only for the valuable input each contributor has made to have text, but also for the energy and enthusiasm to complete the job undertight timescales. |
