<note>The Handbook Of Pediatric Physical Therapy is designed to provide essential information regarding pediatric physical therapy.Itis a succinct resource for therapists needing key information regarding intervention, service delivery,or a particular condition. The Handbook Was to provide information quikly to help answer clinical questions. There are many comprehensive text-books that prpovide detailed analisys of intervention strategies, development, and conditions that are available to therapists. The Handbook will not replace those resources but rather complement them.In the fisrt edition of the Handbook,we indicated that one of its purposes was to provide critical information to therapists who are ecpeted to initiate interventions with perhap limited time to research areas in wich they do not have a great amount of knowledge. We wanted to help therapists meet the demand of the changing health-care enviroment and the increasing demand to have a wide breadth of knowledge avalable. The past 5 years have not diminished that need. In Fact,The need has possibly increased as more therapists are moving from some othr specialty areas into pediatrics. We hove to asist therapists iin fidning information quikly so they can enhance their therapeutic expertice.</note>
