Essentials of Kinesiology for the Physical Therapist Assistant is intended to provide students with a firm fopndation of Kinesiology-the study of human movement. This text focuses strongly on the structure and function of the musculoskeletal system,serving as prerequisite subject matter for all aspects of physical therapist assistant(PTA) practice.Thorough yet clear explanations of normal human movement set the stage for elevant discussions of many common compensatory strategies,treatment techniques,and abnormal movement patterns.
