| Abstract/Notes |
This is the fourth edtion of Pediatric Physical Therapy-how the years have flown by since the fisrt edition was conccived in 1987. That this text has become so well reccived and regulaly adopted by many entry level physical therapy programs in the United States and abroad is a testament primarily to the contributors, some of whom have been with the text trough each of is four editions. The provison of acurrent description of the major areas of pediatric physical therapy for the new practitioner is the continuing goal that has guided the editor and many contributors trough each of the editions. The "Functional goal"is to prepare entry level students and new practitioners who decide to enter pediatric care with a content that is supported by the literature, provides knowledge and insight within the diagnostic areas, and offers the tools by wich to initiate and continue sound practice for the children with whom we work. |
