Development is the increase in the structure and function of a more complex body,
including gross motor skills, fine motor skills, speech and language skills,
socialization, and independence 1. Development is a series of progressive changes
that occur due to the process of maturity and experience. Early childhood is the
golden age where development and growth occur very rapidly. Routine and periodic
screening and stimulation of child development can be done to maximize children's
developmental potential. The purpose of this study was to determine the
effectiveness of stimulation of preschool children's development using SIPANDA
(Early Intervention Screening of Ananda Development) in Pondok Kopi Village,
East Jakarta, in 2024. Research Method: Quasi-experiment with one group pretest
post-test design. Sampling with non-random sampling method. Statistical tests
using the Wilcoxon test. Research Results: There is a difference in the value of
preschool children's development between before and after stimulation with
SIPANDA (p-value: 0.001). There is an increase in the value of child development
before and after developmental stimulation. Health workers and parents are
expected to be able to conduct early detection and stimulation of child development
according to the child's age schedule to maximize child development.
